PrOcRaStInAtIoN!!!

It has been nearly a year since I've made a post and I'm feeling pretty guilty. Paisley has been born already and she's now 8 months old. We purchased a home on August 26, 2008 and moved in September 20, 2008. So many things have happened to Chase and I in the past 11 months, so rather than beat myself up over not keeping up to date on this blog and our life, I'll just start updating regularly from today forward. I plan to back track when I think of things I want to remember. Here are a few pictures of things that have happened in the past 11 months.
This is our new house:

We have done sooo much to this house like... painted the entire upstairs, new windows, carpet, fixed some odds n' ends projects, fixed the lights (thanks to Skyler), put in a garden, pulled out the chain link fence in the backyard, fixed the garage doors, pulled out the pine tree in the front yard, fixed the sprinkler leak, redid all the flower beds, brought in top soil, seeded the empty spots in the front and back, put in a dishwasher and microwave and redid the Nursery. Chase did about 90% of all these projects so I can't really take much credit, but I did do a few little things.

Once we got settled into our house and Chase got home from Goose hunting in Canada, it was time to get ready for Paisley to arrive. My water broke on Sunday, October 26, 2008. I wasn't certain if it was my water for sure or not so Tanya advised me to head to the hospital and they would be able to tell me FOR SURE. So off we went. Chase didn't think they would keep me. Sure enough, my water had broke, but... I was only dilated to a 1, so I had a long ways to go. They induced me about 4:00 pm. Dr. Hartman came to see me around 7pm and told us we would be lucky if she were born by morning. We sent all our visitors home and tried to get some sleep. By midnight, I was fully dilated and by 1:24am, Paisley Josene Mitchell was welcomed into the world by Dr. Hartman, Me, Chase and the Nurses.
Here are some pictures from the day of her birth.
