Every Year Mindy and Rich go camping in the Uintah's over the 4th of July. We decided we wanted to go this year. We left on Saturday morning. One we found them and set up our tent, we were ready to relax. We went on a little hike up to a ravine which made us realize why we live in Utah... it was really pretty!
Back at camp we played Bocci with Mindy and Rich. For dinner we had dutch oven ribs and chicken. After dinner we went fishing but were unsuccessful. We went for a drive to look for deer. Then headed back to camp for a fire and treats. I had a dream a few nights prior about a bear, so I was really scared to sleep in our tent. Thankfully Rich brought his gun which he so kindly let us sleep with. Chase wouldn't let me keep a granola bar in our tent for me to eat in the middle of the night... he wouldn't even let me eat a berry flavored tums... "Don't you know what bears eat?!! Berries!!" But the morning came fast so I guess we made it through the night alive.
Sunday morning after breakfast we went for another drive up above our camp to some meadows full of wild flowers. It was beautiful!! 
Back at camp on Sunday morning we played more games and ate lots of food. After dinner we played Phase 10 and decided we are sissy's and couldn't handle sleeping another night in the tent so we headed for home. It was a very fun camping trip.
***The picture at the top of this entry is a picture we took on the way home. It's a picture of the sunset on Rockport Reservoir... I don't know how to move it to the bottom.
